      About the Role

      ROSS Controls is creating a new Channel Sales Manager role to strengthen, optimize, and grow our North American distributor network. This highly visible position will serve as the primary liaison between ROSS and our distributor partners throughout the United States and Canada.

      This is not a traditional regional or territory sales role. The successful candidate will primarily focus on channel strategy, distributor development, partner engagement, business reviews, performance management, channel optimization, and revenue growth through independent distribution partners.

      As our portfolio continues to expand across multiple product lines and brands, we are seeking an experienced channel professional who can help build stronger distributor partnerships, improve channel effectiveness, create accountability, and drive long-term growth.

      This role is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing without authority, building relationships, solving business challenges, and creating strategies that drive channel success.

      What You'll Do

      • Develop, manage, and grow the distributor network throughout North America
      • Serve as the primary liaison between Ross Controls and independent distribution partners
      • Own distributor relationship strategy, engagement planning, performance management, and business growth initiatives
      • Build strong relationships with distributor principals, sales leaders, and channel personnel
      • Conduct regular business reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) focused on sales performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives
      • Establish performance expectations and accountability metrics with distributor partners
      • Monitor distributor performance and implement plans to improve results and address underperformance
      • Develop distributor recovery plans and growth plans as needed
      • Identify, evaluate, recruit, onboard, and develop new channel partners where strategic coverage is required
      • Deliver product, sales, application, and channel-development training programs
      • Support distributors with territory planning, account development, market penetration, and growth strategies
      • Manage channel activities, pipeline opportunities, and forecasting within CRM systems
      • Analyze channel performance, sales trends, distributor effectiveness, and market opportunities
      • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Product Management, and Engineering teams
      • Support product launches, channel marketing initiatives, trade shows, and industry events

      What We're Looking For

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
      • 5+ years of dedicated channel management, distributor management, channel development, or partner management experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
      • Proven success growing revenue through industrial distributors
      • Experience developing and executing channel growth strategies
      • Experience conducting distributor business reviews and performance management discussions
      • Experience managing distributor performance, accountability, and growth planning
      • Proven ability to influence distributor principals, sales leadership teams, and internal stakeholders without direct authority
      • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
      • Experience utilizing CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
      • Highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
      • Ability to travel throughout North America and maintain a valid passport for travel to Canada

      About the Role

      We're looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our machining team in Lavonia, Georgia.

      This is a hands-on role responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and production requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have prior machining experience, a strong understanding of CNC operations, and the ability to work independently in a low-supervision environment.

      This position is best suited for someone who has worked in a machining or manufacturing environment and is comfortable performing machine setups, tooling changes, inspections, and day-to-day troubleshooting. We're seeking an individual who can quickly become a productive member of the team, take ownership of their work, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the machining department.

      The role reports directly to the Plant Manufacturing Manager and offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled machining team in a collaborative, self-directed environment where quality, accountability, and craftsmanship are highly valued.

       

      What You'll Do

      • Set up CNC machines using setup instructions and tooling requirements
      • Load, unload, and operate CNC machining centers, including Mazak and Makino equipment
      • Install, maintain, and monitor tooling to ensure efficient machine operation
      • Pull raw materials and move stock using a forklift
      • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings
      • Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
      • Deburr, wash, and inspect machined components
      • Complete preventive maintenance checks on assigned equipment
      • Maintain ISO and quality standards through continuous improvement efforts
      • Help improve machining processes, setups, inspection methods, and workflow efficiencies
      • Keep machining and stock areas clean, organized, and safe
      • Communicate effectively with team members and manufacturing leadership to support production goals 

      What We're Looking For

      Must-Haves

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Manufacturing or machining experience
      • Experience operating CNC equipment
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
      • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
      • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
      • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision 

      Preferred

      • Technical school, vocational training, or machining certification
      • 1+ years of CNC machining experience
      • CNC setup experience
      • Experience with Mazak, Makino, or Fanuc-controlled machines
      • Basic CNC programming knowledge
      • Prototyping experience
      • Forklift experience
      • Preventive maintenance experience
